Seether - Karma And Effect

Time to bring a little metal back to the B Side. Seether put on a show at the Rave last Saturday, and unfortunately, I couldn't make it. I didn't really pay a ton of attention to them until a couple years ago. Not even sure why...I had heard them in the past and just didn't give them a fair shake. I LOVE the track 'Broken' with Amy Lee..one of my favorites. Originally, I thought their sound was too similar to Staind, but the more I listen, I retract that a little bit. It's certainly similar, but all around a bit different. They don't allow Amazon to link samples to many of their records, so for right now this is the only review I can do. (Seriously, what's up with that anyway? Just let people hear previews...it's 2010 people!) I don't feel like this is their best record ever, but it's worth a listen. I think it's a pretty good representation of what they're all about. If you've never heard Seether before, they're certainly worth a look. Hopefully one of my readers who went to the show can't post a little something about it. Maybe that person would encourage other to get into Seether as well - and hit up a show next time their in your town. Happy Hump Day!

  2. Show was pretty good, while I'm mainly a fan due to my lovely girlfriend being a fanatic. I did not regret going, although I was bummed I didn't have the cash for a kickass shirt they were selling there. deleted and editted for poor typing
