Bob Seger - Against The Wind
Bob Seger is one of those guys and acts that just doesn't get the credit it deserves. Everyone knows and sings along to at least a couple Seger tracks, but very few people actually own an album. I'm just as guilty as anyone. I think I might have bought a greatest hits album years ago, but never bought anything individually. Regardless, I love Seger. No matter what mood I might be in that day, Seger has multiple songs to satisfy my listening appetite. Such a great listen. Crazy trivia tidbit, this was the album to knock off Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' which served as the number one album for a REALLY long time. I think this album is 6x platinum or so, and well deserved. I'm not sure how anyone could find something huge to complain about this record. It's just solid top to bottom. It's not an infamous 5+ record or anything, it's just solid. Like every other Seger record, it just makes you want to listen to more. Not go down in the history of best records ever, but something you love to put on and jam to. Anyway, this is a must listen. If you've never heard Seger, this is a good one to start with. If you've heard him, do what you always do - put it on and drift away.
